Hello, I am Sami and welcome to my blog. For a few weeks now, I have been feeling some really big "growth spurts" inside of me. I am 30 something wife, mom/stepmom who has always put her children first. As of this year one of our sons will become an adult, two of our children will become teens and one will become a preteen. While I will continue to make my children a priority I must put my husband and our marriage first. I will also focus on bringing the woman within me out. I look forward to this new chapter in my life in order to watch our children grow into responsible adults, to love and cherish my husband and to be the beautiful, confident woman God created. I have always wanted to collect something but could never come up with an idea of what I wanted to collect. I take that back ....at one time I started collecting star shaped items but it ended up not being too fun. I have now come up with a great idea of what I want to collect. It has personal meaning because I LOVED these as a child. Look at these pictures and see if they take you back in time....
I am going to start collecting Fisher Prices Little People and sets. I absolutely loved playing with these as a child so whenever I see them I know they will make me smile. There is so much of this stuff available on ebay at pretty reasonable prices. My sister and I had the house and farm which my nieces still play with to this day when they are over at my parents house. Once they are done I will confinscate it for my collection. It will be neat to have this stuff for when one day....hopefully not too soon though....when I have grandchildren.

Oh, I loved playing with those! I think we had all of them! Have fun finding them! 
Wow! Those really take me back! I don't know if we had the exact same kind, but I do remember them from when I was a child! Finding them will probably be the best part!! 
I tell my kids that I owned 2 dolls in my whole life and 1 teddy bear. I still have them today. I use this to remind them to be THANKFUL they have the stuff they have. Gosh, growing up, I never felt deprived or anything. Sometimes you just don't miss what you dont see or dont have. I still had fun climbing trees and being a tomboy. But nope, never had any plastic-type of toys. My kids though, sure did enjoy them..
